How to Apply

In order for your loan application to be considered you will need:

  • To have attended an appointment with a qualified business adviser (either through Enterprise First or Business Link).
  • To have a projected cash flow forecast for your first years trading.
  • To have a business plan (please use the downloadable template if you do not already have one).
  • To realise how much work will be needed to make your business successful.

When returning your application, we require:

  • ALL credit details i.e mortgages, loans, credit cards etc for both personal and business accounts.
  • A recent 'credit check' (dated within the last 6 months). If there is any adverse history, please provide further details regarding the items showing as it will assist us in dealing with your case.
  • Proof of ID (photocopies are acceptable).
  • Proof of address (at least two documents such as a utility bills and bank statements).
  • A letter of decline from your bank (if bank finance is available, this may be the best option for your business) 
  • 6 months' bank statements for all personal and business accounts.
  • Evidence of an appointment with a business advisor
  • If applicable - certificates confirming training workshops attended

When you have completed the application form and the business plan, please scan and e-mail them to mail@scmoneyline.org.uk or return them together with copies of all other relevant documents to:
